FOOD retailers and producers from all over the UK certainly had a good appetite for "Britain's tasiest festival."
Andrew Dixon, selling Manx Spirit - a clear drink distilled from eight-year-old single malt whisky brewed on the Isle of Man and only available on the island or at the festival - said: "I'm very impressed with the mix of produce and friendly atmosphere, it is a special event."
Sauces of Choice owner Neil Owen came all the way from Somerset to entice new customers to his award-winning sauces made from natural ingredients and sold in Harrods.
He said: "I was told this was one of the best shows and we have been very busy - hopefully our range will be available in Nantwich shops soon."
From closer to home Le Chocolatier, based in Chester, were offering tantalizing tasters of their best-selling handmade nutty chocolate Italien Gianduja.
And their Master Chocolate Maker Michael Levy led the unashamedly indulgent Chocolate Appreciation Experience.
He said: "It was a fantastic evening - we take people through how chocolate is made, its history, different varieties and how to tell the difference between good and bad quality bars."
Cheesemakers David Williams, of Crewe Hall, brought a selection of their unusual blended cheeses, including a Lancashire cheese with apples, raisins and cinnamon, farmhouse pickle flavour, and red hot chilli cheese.
Mr Williams said: "We will be taking a bigger stand in future - this is our first time and it's nice to see all the local people and businesses."
