THERE was an excellent turnout for the Antrobus Village Show with the highlight being more than 50 entries from children.
With sections for children such as handwriting, poems, producing a miniature garden and decorating fairy cakes, there was plenty to catch the eye.
Adult classes included horticulture, photography, handicrafts, cookery and preserves.
Organiser Janet Featonby said: "This is only the second year that we have had the show and it was a great success."
Results from the show will appear in Wednesday's Guardian.
