PARISHONERS across Warrington are being asked to give something up to mark harvest fast day next month.
On October 7, school children and parishioners in the town are being asked to give up something for the day to reflect on the fact that even though the world produces a surplus of food, someone still dies every minute from starvation or a hunger-related disease.
