A MUSICAL treat was enjoyed by Warrington school children last week.
Post-graduates from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama visited the Barrow Hall Lane, Sycamore Lane and Broomfields primary schools to bring instruments to life.
The Vision tour was organised by Classic FM and Yamaha.
Now in its third year, this year's tour played to 8,000 children at 36 primary schools and spearheaded this year's Arts and Kids Week, October 1 to 9, when Yamaha are offering children interested to try their hand at music-making, one of 5,000 free music lessons on offer at any of the country's Yamaha Music Schools.
Roger Lewis, managing director and programme controller of Classic FM, said: "We are committed to helping youngsters to connect with classical music. Through this tour, children will be able to get closer to musical instruments and music making."
