governors' conference
WARRINGTON'S fifth annual governors' conference will be held early next month.
The theme for the conference, which brings together governors from across the borough, is Education for the 21st Century.
Norma Cadwallader, interim strategic director of children's services, said: "This provides governors from all our schools with the unique opportunity to listen to nationally recognised speakers, exchange ideas, share best practice and network with other governors.
"They will have the opportunity to consider the Change for Children Agenda and the move towards children's trust arrangement by 2008."
The conference is being held at The Park Royal Hotel in Stretton.
