A GOVERNMENT inspector has backed a decision to block plans to build nine houses on a plot of land in Stockton Heath.
Councillors refused plans to build the detached homes on land at 81a Grappenhall Road.
Now a Government official has used the emerging unitary development plan to turn down the developers' appeal.
He said there was already enough housing in the area and more building could not be justified.
