A MEETING will take place to discuss proposals to establish a residents' association in the Crook Lane area of Winsford.
Organisers are hoping the area's residents will support the idea at the meeting at Willow Wood Community Centre, on October 13, at 6pm.
The area is not currently represented by an association and organisers believe it will be of huge benefit to residents.
Mike Kennedy, chairman of Winsford Residents' Federation, said: "Residents' associations have been extremely successful in other parts of Winsford and it will be fantastic if we get one off the ground in the Crook Lane area.
"There do seem to be people living there who are ready and willing to set up an association and they will receive all the help necessary to do that. This will bring the number of residents' associations in Winsford to six and that can only be a good thing for the town."
