A DECISION on controversial plans to erect a phone mast in Cinammon Brow has been delayed.
Neighbours in Cinammon Brow teamed up with borough councillors to oppose Vodafone's plans to erect a 12-metre-high phone mast.
And they were expected to lobby the council's development control committee yesterday, Wednesday night to oppose the plans for Blackbrook Avenue.
They say the mast would hit look of the area while also raising the health effects on the nearby residents and affecting wildlife.
But the plans were withdrawn from the agenda at the last minute.
