A NEW ICT suite designed to accommodate all the community has opened in Fairfield.
Fairfield Community House on Manchester Road has provided a variety of computer classes since its first ICT suite opened five years ago.
Thanks to around £8,000 worth of funding, including money from Warrington Borough Council, the suite has now been moved so more people can make use of its facilities.
Community course organiser, Carole Houghton, said: "The old ICT suite was upstairs, which meant it was awkward for anyone who has problems getting up steps or is in a wheelchair.
"We applied for funding and with it put in a ramp and wider doors and moved the ICT equipment downstairs and we've got two extra computers.
"Anyone can come in and use them free of charge and they will be given help by our team."
Courses organised by Warrington Collegiate run Monday to Thursday from 10am to noon and 1pm to 3pm, while drop-in sessions are held on Mondays and Wednesdays from 3.15pm to 5.15pm and 1pm to 3pm on Fridays.
