MOTOR company Polar Ford of Warrington has become the latest member to join Warrington Trading Standards' Approved Motor Trader Scheme.
The scheme, which is designed to encourage high standards in the motor trade, is audited by trading standards officers and ensures consumer confidence in the services they seek.
Clr Pat Wright, executive member for community services, said: "There are nearly 30 members on the scheme and we hope many more businesses will join us."
Members have to comply with the spirit and letter of the law, deal with customers fairly and have effective complaints procedures.
Graham Wright, manager of Polar Ford, said: "I see the endorsement of our business by trading standards as highly significant.
"This sends out a very strong message that we are committed to providing a top quality service."
