HE'S impersonated Elvis, shared a bill with The Beatles and won a talent contest in Las Vegas, writes James Hanley.
But now Widnes entertainer Jonny Rocco has an even bigger stage in mind.
The World has been inundated with calls all week requesting that the 65-year-old singer and his backing band, The Jet', be included in the line-up of the proposed Spike Island 06 rock and pop festival.
Jonny, of Dean Street, has been mimicking the likes of Elvis, Dean Martin and Fats Domino for more than 50 years and said: "It's my big ambition to be part of the show, just to see how it went down.
"I'd love to get up there with the big names, whoever it is that plays.
"In the 60s I did shows with The Beatles, when they were nobodies."
The married father-of-five has lived in Widnes all his life, working as a labourer and landscape gardener.
He said: "People think I've never had a job when I've done every job you can think of."
Jonny rates the swinging 60s as the best musical era but is less complimentary about today's pop scene.
"I don't know how half of them get there", he said.
