A MAN found guilty of twice sexually assaulting a young girl inside his flat while his daughters played outside has been jailed.
David Hill, 41, of Lodge Road, Widnes, denied two charges of touching a child under 13 during his trial last month but the jury unanimously found him guilty of both offences.
Chester Crown Court Judge Roger Dutton had told the unemployed father-of-three: "You have been convicted of two squalid sexual assaults on a young, eight-year-old girl - an extremely serious matter committed by an adult taking advantage of a girl that age."
On Monday Judge Dutton sentenced Hill to two years in prison.
