ARTISTS have the chance to show off their creative flair when the first Scarecrow Trail takes place in Daresbury this weekend.
It has been organised as a fun event for people to design and build their very own scarecrows.
Visitors can buy a trail guide costing £1, which details a map of the trail, a list of the names of the scarecrows, and a voting form.
All votes must be in by 5pm on Saturday, October 1. People in Moore, Canalside, Sandymoor and Daresbury are taking part in the event.
A photographic display of the scarecrows will be at the Milner Institute on Saturday, between 2pm and 5pm, where votes can be left.
Voters can also hand in their favourites to Moore Village Stores, or alternatively post them at 21 Linfield Close, Moore.
People taking part are being asked to respect people's privacy and refrain from wandering across gardens and driveways during the walk.
