SANDIWAY Golf Club's Richard Taylor is putting the finishing touches to his preparation for the Audi Quattro UK Cup.
The competition, at Turnberry, will see 18 amateur pairs compete for the UK title, with the winners and runners up in the Stableford competition going through to represent the UK in the Audi Quattro World Final in Arizona.
Taylor, 54, from Tarporley is set to join forces with Crewe's Stephen Cuthbert as the pair look to book their place on the plane to the USA.
To qualify for the event Taylor finished fifth at Wychwood Park in May, before taking second place in the regional final at Mottram Hall in July.
As well as the overall title, there will also be recognition for golfers in longest drive and nearest the pin events.
The action gets under way at Turnberry on October 4.
