CRAIG Jones still has a slim chance of becoming the 2005 British Supersport Champion after a fourth place finish in Sunday's rain soaked penultimate round at Donington Park.
Jones must now win the final round at Brands Hatch on October 9 and hope his rival Leon Camier does not score to become champion.
He admitted after the race it was unlikely, but rightly stated 'In motorcycle racing at this level, anything's possible'.
This was certainly true at Donington Park as Jones, on board his Northpoint Honda, slipped down the order in the early laps in very wet conditions.
As the track began to dry, Jones pushed harder, not only catching and passing rival Camier but also posting the fastest lap right at the end of the race.
The race was won by Spaniard Pere Riba, also on a Honda.
