LOVINGLY restored classic cars gleamed in the sunshine as thousands of spectators enjoyed a vintage organ and vehicle fair at Victoria Park.
It was the first time one proud Widnes enthusiast exhibited his shiny black MG, after spending seven years re-building it at home.
Some vintage models dated back more than 40 years, yet were still in pristine condition, their owners enjoying an Indian summer picnic.
Classic motorbikes, brought back to life in ITV's Heartbeat, were on display, alongside tractors, trucks and steam engines.
Tinkling tunes filled the century old park as this is the largest gathering of fair organs in the North of England.
A Victorian style funfair, Burmese dogs pulling decorated carts, a craft tent and auction were just some of the other attractions.
The Fair Organ Preservation Society has staged this two day free event in Widnes for the past six years, thanks to the support of Halton Council.
