BARNTON Community Primary pupils have been brushing up on their art skills ahead of a planned trip to The Lowry arts centre in Salford.
Courtney Higgins, seven, and Finlay Grant, eight, will be among the children taking part in the combined history and art visit to witness performances of Horrible Histories on Vile Victorians and Terrible Tudors, which have been the subject of Year Three and Year Six study topics.
The drawings of renowned artist LS Lowry, who gave his name to the centre, have also been explored. g053944
