PEOPLE of different nationalities will be welcomed to Warrington with a special pack, tailored to their needs.
Warrington's Multi Cultural Forum is launching its Welcome Pack on September 28 at the Gateway Centre, Sankey Street, and is inviting anyone wishing to find out more and receive a complimentary copy of the pack, to go along.
A spokesman said: "The pack is an information booklet that provides practical assistance for people from different cultures who may have recently come to live in Warrington, with things like where places are and help in contacting relevant agencies."
The launch in the Gateway begins at 6.15pm.
Information about the Buddy Support Project, which links people with volunteer support workers, to give people the extra help, befriending and support often needed when moving to a new place, will also be available.
