READERS with unusual phobias are being invited to share their fears with others - via the Knutsford Guardian.
Reporters are hoping to find out more about the unusual things that scare people.
Common phobias include a fear of spiders, heights and confined spaces.
But buttons, cotton wool and string can frighten others.
According to scientists, most people are afraid of something.
Phobias hit the headlines recently when a couple from Brighton set up a business to help people with a fear of assembling flat pack furniture.
Karen and Chris Lobo bought the furniture for their clients, put the items together and then delivered them.
The Knutsford Guardian is hoping to help people with phobias by speaking to therapists.
Reporters then hope to put people in contact with someone who can help them.
