ALSAGER Town were hammered 4-0 at home on Tuesday night by Newcastle Town.
The visitors are third in the table, and their victory followed a 5-2 thrashing of Congleton Town on Saturday.
Lennon scored four against the Bears, and hit two more against Alsager.
Harris put Newcastle ahead on 17 minutes with a curling shot into the top corner.
Talbot made it 2-0 on 27 minutes after a mistake by the Alsager keeper, and Lennon scored on 68 and 75 minutes.
Alsager ran out easy winners on Saturday at mid-table Glossop North End.
The 2-0 scoreline does not reflect Alsager's superiority, and they should have bagged a hatful of goals on the day.
They dominated from start to finish, the Glossop centre half almost knocking a cross from Heler into his own net on five minutes.
A volley from Mitchell flew just over the bar, and a few minutes later Rutter had a well-placed headed superbly turned away by the keeper.
Alsager took the lead on 20 minutes from the resulting corner, the ball falling to the feet of Brotherton, who lashed it home.
Alsager could have been four up by the interval, Glossop having their keeper to thank for keeping them in the match with a string of fine saves.
The keeper pulled off a brilliant save to deny Espley in the second half, and Alsager had to wait until 10 minutes from the end to seal the match.
A long free kick into the box was headed on by Rutter for Mitchell to score with a shot which went in off the post.
Alsager are at home to Squires Gate tomorrow.
