A WIDNES woman has spoken of her relief after three 17-year-olds who left her family 'living in fear' were sentenced at Runcorn Magistrates Court last week.
One of the Widnes-based trio received detention and a training order for four months for harassment and six months for witness intimidation.
The other two teenagers were found guilty of harassment, with one sentenced to a curfew order for four months and a supervision order for 12 months, and the other given a curfew for six months and a 12 month supervision order.
The order means the teenagers cannot enter Abbey Road, where the family live, for an indefinite period of time.
The victim, who does not wish to be named, said the gang had constantly harassed her and her family for the last three years.
She said: "I am quite happy because the police were happy as they'd never had such a strong sentence in a case like this".
Sgt Carl Davies of the Widnes CAT Team said: "We are very happy with the result and sentences.
"We hope the sentences will act as a deterrent to would-be offenders and result in a decrease in the amount of anti-social behaviour in the Ditton area."
