A MEMORIAL darts day at the Adelphi Vaults pub in Howley has raised £600 for the neonatal unit at Warrington Hospital.
Pub regular Paul Cunningham won the Dave Hepworth trophy, in memory of former darts team member Dave Hepworth, from Wellington Street, who died aged 60 in May 2003.
Mr Hepworth's daughter, Diane Birchall, presented Mr Cunningham with the memorial trophy.
Mrs Birchall said: "The darts team put on the contest with the help of landlord Kevin Williams. It was great, we also raffled off a bike and a TV, and we even sold a plastic bucket for £15!
"We've made this an annual event.
"Last year we made £247 so it's going from strength to strength."
