A SPOKESMAN for Cheshire County Council said a number of proposals were already scheduled to take place along the A530.
He said: "Traffic lights have been installed at the junction with Pym's Lane and are proposed for the Flowers Lane-Eardwick Lane junction.
"There are proposals for a 30mph speed limit through Bradfield Green and for 40pmh speed limits through Walley's Green and in the area of the Wistaston Green Road junction.
"New signs and markings will be provided on the approaches to the Wistaston Green Road junction.
"Safety cameras have been suggested at different locations but at present they do not meet with the Government's strict criteria.
"County council engineers will continue to closely monitor the road."
