ANDREW Johns was full of praise for teammate Martin Gleeson when he took part in a live webchat at the Warrington Guardian offices on Thursday.
When asked which of the current Wolves squad, Lee Briers and Nathan Wood aside, had really stood out so far, Johns, who has played with current stars such as Mark Gasnier and Jamie Lyon for New South Wales, picked out Gleeson.
The centre has been named as Wolves' only representative in the 2005 Super League Dream Team, and Johns said: "Martin Gleeson is possibly the best centre I've played with, and I've played with some champions in Australia."
He later added: "I would love to play alongside Martin on a permanent basis. I might have some excess baggage on the way home!"
