WARRINGTON Town boss Glenn Walker is hoping to add some new faces to his squad in time for their home match with Ossett on Saturday.

Walker was disappointed with his side's performance as they lost 3-1 at home to Woodley Sports on Tuesday, but he could have deals to sign three players completed before Town face Ossett at Cantilever Park, kick-off 3pm.

Town, who are also at home to high flying Mossley on Tuesday, kick-off 7.45pm, have James Featherstone back from suspension on Saturday but Chris Fitzsimmons (ankle) is a doubt.

Town fell behind in the 48th minute as Gregg Brickell struck, but they could have been on level terms 10 mintes later when they won a penalty for a push on Paul McNally.

But Marvin Molyneaux shaved the post with his spot kick, and Woodley went 2-0 up through Chris Curley's 73rd-minute strike as Town struggled to cope with the visitors' pace.

They did pull a goal back as substitute Graeme Mitchell rounded off the move of the game in the 82nd minute, but Luke Horrocks scored Woodley's thitrd with four minutes remaining.

Town: Ian Lowe, Matty Farrell, Danny Salt, Marvin Molyneaux, Adrian Reilly, Gary Randles, Dave Tickle (Craig Heenighan), Steve Latham, Paul McNally (Graeme Mitchell), Phil Mitchell, Andy Moores (Gareth Evans).

Phil Mitchell scored two goals and had a hand in the other as Town secured a 3-2 victory in an entertaining game at Goole on Saturday.

Town fell behind as early as the third minute, when McLean's 35-yard strike gave Warrington keeper Ian Lowe no chance.

Glenn Walker's men suffered further setbacks when Graeme Mitchell's goal was ruled out for offside and Chris Fitzsimmons was forced off through injury, but they equalised in the 44th minute.

Phil Mitchell's shot was smartly saved by Chris Hill but leading goalscorer McNally was on hand to force the ball home.

Phil Mitchell then put Town in front a minute later with an angled drive from the edge of the box, although Goole were back on level terms when Dave Watts headed home from a corner in the 57th minute.

But Town still looked the likely winners and, although Goole's Graham Whitehead hit the bar in the dying minutes, they hung on to the three points after Phil Mitchell had converted in the 65th minute following a surging run from Steve Latham.

Town: Ian Lowe, Danny Salt, Chris Fitzsimmons (Marvin Molyneaux), Dave Tickle, Adrian Reilly, Gary Randles, Craig Heenighan, Steve Latham, Paul McNally (Gareth Evans), Graeme Mitchell (Lee Webster), Phil Mitchell.
