A FUN night has raised £600 for children's charity the NSPCC.
The disco, bingo, auction and raffle was held at the RAOB Club in Sayce Street, Widnes, last month.
"The evening was a great success," said Denise Rathbone, of Widnes, who organised the event with help from her friends and relatives.
"We wanted to provide a fun night that would allow us to raise as much money as possible to help vulnerable children."
Amanda Price, NSPCC community appeals manager, said: "We really appreciate the fantastic efforts of Denise and her fellow organisers.
"The NSPCC would be unable to help the amount of children that we do without the generosity of donors, fundraisers and supporters."
She said a special thank you to Frank Hughes of the RAOB club.
The NSPCC is the UK's leading charity specialising in child protection and the prevention of cruelty to children.
The society runs more than 180 projects and services throughout the UK, helping 10,000 children and their families every year.
