CHILDREN are being offered the chance to work off some steam as new exercise classes get off the ground at Sir John Deane's Leisure Centre.
The new Exercise Express classes are aimed at children aged between five and 10.
Qualified fitness instructor Katherine Treacher takes the classes on Saturdays with a session for five to seven-year-olds from 10am to 10.45am and a session for eight to 10-year-olds from 11am to 11.45am.
She said: "Exercise has become an important part of a healthy lifestyle - and you're never too young to get started.
"The Exercise Express classes aim to introduce children to gentle exercise with music and fun along the way."
The sessions are run during term time and cost £20.40 for six weeks.
