IT was another resounding success as some 7,000 pints of beer were consumed at the 12th annual Northwich Beer Festival.
On Friday night 700 ticket holders enjoyed the opportunity to sample 75 different beers and 14 ciders with names to really test the imagination.
There were beers called Danish Dynamite, from the Stonehenge Brewery, Thrappledouser, Blonde Witch, and Lady Godiva and ciders called Double Vision and Suicider.
Music for the evening was by the very popular group Bogtrotters, who soon had customers dancing in front of the stage and even old timers tapping their feet.
Saturday lunchtime was for the connoisseur, with drinkers making tasting notes of their favourite tipple in the quiet and peaceful atmosphere.
In the hectic evening session, regular performers Ska Wars offered their very own form of madness on stage.
The beer lasted well with a good choice right to the end, with the special festival ale, CAMRA Anniversary Beer and Rotary Centenary Ale, well appreciated.
Customers chose Spitting Feathers Old Wavertonian, a robust and full-bodied dark stout, as the beer of the festival.
In total more than 1,400 tickets were sold and approximately 7,000 pints consumed.
Fundraisers from St Luke's Hospice, Northwich Carers, The Neuromuscular Centre, and Age Concern were present
Ted Hawker, chairman of the committee, said: "Our thanks to all of the helpers and the members of the public for making this a successful event."
