TWO Widnes women triumphantly crossed the finishing line in the Hydro Active Women's Challenge in Liverpool's Sefton Park.
Natalie Suggett and Suzanne Pearce raised money for Macmillan Cancer Relief.
"What an amazing day!" said Natalie. "The support from the crowds was fantastic.
"I felt such a sense of achievement crossing that finishing line, especially knowing that I was raising money for people living with cancer."
The two runners would like to thank all their sponsors.
Team Macmillan raised £135,000 last year through this event and this year hopes to increase this total.
All proceeds will help fund Macmillan nurses, doctors, cancer care centres, a range of cancer information sources and direct financial help for those who need it most.
