VETERANS and the youth of today will march side by side in an event to mark the 65th anniversary of the Battle of Britain.
From 11am on Sunday, former servicemen and women from the RAF, Navy and Army will congregate at Gulliver's in Westbrook for a parade and service.
And they will be joined by members of the Air Training cadets, the Sea Cadets and Cheshire Army Cadet force.
Taking the salute will be Mayor and Mayoress Clrs Hans and Karen Mundry.
Meanwhile branch members of the Burtonwood RAFA will be in Warrington town centre to raise much needed funds from 10am until 2pm.
