DEVELOPMENT plans for the next stage of a business park are rapidly taking shape.
United Utilities are already based on Lingley Mere in Great Sankey and proposals were recently announced which will see the new regional headquarters of the fire service control room also based there.
Joint partners behind the scheme, AMEC and United Utilities, are currently putting the finishing touches to the rest of the park which will provide more than 1 million sq ft of offices, high technology business space and amenity facilities in future phases within a landscaped environment.
A spokesman for the company said: "We are confident that there is a significant demand for high quality office buildings of these sizes in the Warrington area. A regional workforce of more than four million gives businesses access to a world class labour pool and a significant competitive advantage."
