A CHANGE in the law means that from later this year, same sex couples will be able to enter into a legally recognised union.
The Warrington Guardian would like to hear from any couples who are planning to 'tie the knot' after the new civil partnership act comes into force on December 5.
There is a 15-day period before any ceremonies can take place, which means that December 21 is the first day that couples can have their union recognised legally.
People who choose to take part in such a ceremony will enjoy the same rights as married couples.
If you are planning a service after that date, you can contact the news desk on 434110 or by e-mail on hcartwright@guardiangrp.co.uk
