HEADTEACHER Ann Gill is celebrating an award for her school's use of information technology.
Rode Heath Primary School has received the NAACE mark following a visit from an inspector from the award scheme.
The mark is given in recognition of high quality in the use of ICT in schools.
"It is lovely to have recognition of the hard work and high standards achieved by pupils and teachers in our school," said Mrs Gill.
She is pictured showing off the award with Advanced Skills teacher Jonathon Riley.
"I find if very interesting to use new technology in the classroom," said Mr Riley.
"The pace of change is very fast in primary schools, and it is exciting to be part of new innovation."
