NEWMARKET stormed to the top of the Bolton Vets Soccer League with a thrilling victory against a Bay Mare side that paid the penalty.
Bay Mare opened the scoring with the first of four penalties to feature in the game.
Alan Lomas levelled and Ewin Teder ensured Newmarket went in at half time 2-1 ahead.
In the second half Newmarket took control.
Further goals were scored by Lomas and Teder, while Bay Mare pulled a couple of goals back.
It was left to Gary Curran to wrap things up with a stunning header.
