A SPONSORED 'Pedal Push' for the charity ChildLine was held at Westy Sure Start's children's centre on Saturday.
The charity, which gives children in distress somebody to talk to, is suffering a cash crisis, threatening its night time advice service.
Children and their families took part on the day at the Tinsley Avenue site with parents pushing their little ones in buggies and prams and older children riding bikes.
The children received a certificate for their efforts and a visit from 'Tiger Roo' of children's charity JUMP.
Tricia Holding, Westy Sure Start information officer, said: "Lots of parents registered to do it, it was for a really good cause and it was a lot of fun."
