Malpas 0
Warrington Town Reserves 1
A LATE winner from substitute Phil Latham helped Warrington Town's second string grab victory at struggling Malpas on Saturday.
Town almost took the lead when Warburton's fierce drive struck the bar, while the home side were also thwarted by the woodwork when Musgrave hit the post.
The game looked set for a stalemate when Andy Moores fired wide for Town, but after good work from Ritchie Sinker, Latham broke the deadlock with a low shot with five minutes left on the clock.
Town Reserves: Tyrer, Hall, Akrigg, Brownbill, Cartledge, Sinker, Boardman, Warburton, Dermody, Moores, Potter. Subs used: Latham, Brown, Berry. Not used: Parr, Preston.
