WORKERS at a Warrington company have been shedding the pounds thanks to the help of their own personal trainer.
IT providers Strand Technology, based at Xpdia on Cinnamon Park, hired a personal trainer to ensure its 15-strong workforce are kept at the peak of fitness to promote healthy lifestyles. The company counts the NHS among its clients.
Trainer Adam Francis, who has worked with stars such as Victoria Beckham, has also enjoyed early success with managing director Graham Phillips losing five-and-a-half stone in six months.
He said: "We are working closely with the NHS and believe we should be leading the way with healthy lifestyles and incorporating exercise into the office culture."
Mr Francis, who is based at the Alive and Well gym in Birchwood, said: "This sort of training increases endorphin levels in the brain which raises your self esteem, sharpens the mind and increases your energy levels."
