Warrington man Barry Johnson was found not guilty in unanimous verdicts at Liverpool Crown Court last Thursday and discharged from the dock.
Mr Johnson, aged 58, of Mill Farm Close, Warrington, had pleaded not guilty to five charges of theft.
Mr Johnson, who no longer has the security job at Asda in Aintree, said that there had not been any thefts.
