FIREFIGHTERS paid the children of a Great Sankey nursery a special visit.
They taught the tots at Little Treasures about fire safety and showed them how to use the equipment.
The crew came as part of the nurseries programme to bring in people who help the community to talk to the school children.
Caroline Gregory, deputy manager of the Evelyn Street nursery, said: "The children absolutely loved it and the firefighters were really good.
"They weren't in a rush or anything.
"They spent a lot of time with the children and they answered all their questions."
