COLLEAGUES and customers at Asda in Winsford have raised £2,420 which has been presented to a special school.
The money has gone towards the building of a hydro pool at Hebden Green Community School.
Funds were raised at the supermarket during a three-month period when sales from a yoghurt drink resulted in profits being donated to the community.
School spokesman Toni Findley said: "Asda has been really supportive of the school over the past few years in a number of ways.
"For the past 18 months we have been trying to raise funds for the hydrotherapy pool which is in desperate need of refurbishment. It is used by the community as well as by the school and this money will really help."
