THE corridors of Mid-Cheshire College are ringing with the hustle and bustle of a bumper new intake of students this month.
New students have come from schools across the county to take advantage of new facilities at the college, including a beauty salon, engineering teaching block and facilities for students with special needs.
All curriculum areas have been busy enrolling students but there has been particular interest in beauty therapy, construction, science and sport courses.
Principal John Reilly said: "We are really pleased that our full time student numbers have grown yet again.
"Along with our improving success rates, we are now well placed to deliver an ambitious project to upgrade our Hartford campus and build a new learning zone in Winsford.
"Our objective is to become one of the top 10 per cent of colleges in the UK and this latest rise in student numbers shows we are making good progress on that journey."
There are still a limited number of places at the college and anyone interested in enrolling should call in at the Hartford campus or ring 01606 74444.
