RESIDENTS of Northwich were given the chance to get crafty with card making at a specially arranged demonstration day earlier this month.

Business partners Dale Ryder and Caroline Morris, who live in Winsford, opened Church Road store Caradale Crafts four months ago but the pair waited until Saturday, September 3, before hosting the special event.

Dale, 57, said: "Before coming to Northwich, Caroline and I had heard by word of mouth that people wanted a card making craft shop in the town and this seems to be true as we have had a very successful time since being here, even though we're slightly off the beaten track."

And Dale, who previously worked as a credit controller, added: "Caroline has been involved in the card-making trade professionally for a number of years but for me it was just a hobby until I retired and Caroline and I decided to make a go of the shop."
