NORTHWICH rider Craig Jones is still searching for his first Supersport win of the season, despite a good performance at his home circuit of Oulton Park.

Jones left the line with the leaders, was fifth at the first corner and hit the front by the end of the first lap.

But he faced fierce competition from championship leader Leon Camier, Tom Sykes and team mate Cal Crutchlow who took the lead at the end of lap two.

Jones struggled with handling problems and with championship points at stake he seemed content to concentrate on finishing the race with a good tally rather than pushing too hard.

Unfortunately, back markers on the last lap hindered Jones' progress and he was beaten to the line by both Camier and Sykes.

Jones now heads to Donington Park, on September 25, knowing the title is Camier's to lose.
