A CATWALK with a difference is set to help cancer patients.
Visitors to Norton Priory's walled garden have been amused to discover 39 humorous and beautifully painted cat sculptures sitting amidst the flowers and shrubs.
"Norton Priory has been delighted to host this wonderful celebration of our feline friends," said curatorial assistant Jean-Philippe Stienne.
"The cat sculptures have proved a hit with both young and old."
The comical cats, ranging from 'Catman' and 'Mine's a Guinness Cat' go under the hammer at 2pm on Sunday, September 18.
Halton Haven Hospice will receive 40 per cent of the proceeds, the rest will to the professional artists from Cheshire Artists Network, who produced the sculptures.
The walled garden opens at 1pm and also hosts an annual horticultural show on Sunday, from 2.30pm to 4.30pm.
