WIDNES' bowler kept Bootle at bay reaching 42 for one off 20 overs.
In the final 20 overs, Widnes kept Bootle on a tight reign with Tom Evans bowling eight overs for 20 runs.
Jamal Khojani bowled his eight overs, three wickets for 39 runs and with the seam bowlers coming on at the end, finished off the innings.
Alex Duckers picked up four wickets for 22 runs and Jamie Clare one wicket for 10 runs, with Bootle finishing off their innings on 125 for eight wickets in 40 overs.
Widnes went in to bat. They progressed steadily towards their target with Ben William, 19, Alex Duckers, 38, who was joined by Billy Webb scoring 38 not out, seeing Widnes home to a win by six wickets to take the MYC Echo Cup 2005 U15s winner's trophy.
