WEST Cheshire League side Mond Rangers FC has changed its name to Runcorn Town FC.
The decision to change name was done in order to attract more support from the local community and businesses within it.
This decision has already started to pay off with builders merchants Webbs becoming the main sponsor for club's senior, reserve and youth teams for the 2005/06 season and Widnes based Total Jetting Solutions agreeing to sponsor the club's training kit.
Anyone wishing to sponsor the football club can call chairman Robbie Winrow on 07985-761398 or Secretary Phil Crilly on 07834-964543.
The club would like to thank the Cheshire FA for allowing the name change to go through this season.
