ALSAGER mums have issued an SOS for the return of evidence forms supporting their protest campaign.
Parents and children are fighting to save a grassed area behind the Co-op in Lawton Road from developers.
The area would disappear under supermarket proposals by the Co-op and Kimberley Developments.
Alsager Town Council is to seek village green status for the area to protect it from development.
It is being supported by mums Sharron Cliffe and Lorraine Standring, pictured, who have received 100 completed evidence forms, which will be used to support the council's case.
The other 250 they handed out need to be returned to Corbett's butchers in Lawton Road by next Monday, September 12.
Anyone who has pictures showing the grassed area being used should ring Sharron on 01270-878383.
