A MULTI-PARTNER task force has carried out an environmental audit of the Grange Estate in a bid to get £10,000 worth of grants to make improvements.
Wall repairs, burned out dog waste bins, litterbins and hedge cutting were just some of the items identified as needing attention.
A report has now been completed by the group, called the Neighbourhood Environmental Action Team, and sent to ENCAMPS, an environmental group, which gives out grants.
Once the report has been studied an action plan can then be formed.
The partnership is made up of Grange Residents' Association, Vale Royal Community Safety Partnership and Vale Royal Borough Council.
