THE first phase of Warrington Collegiate's £27m new build campus on Winwick Road opened on September 6.
A construction and engineering skills centre, it will be used by students studying joinery, plumbing, carpentry and electrical engineering, and promises a state-of-the-art learning environment when they return to college on Monday.
During its official opening people were invited to get to grips with all that is on offer through specially arranged workshops.
Paul Hafren, principal at the college, said: "The day really allowed people to get a feel for the new centre and the fantastic facilities it has on offer. It was a great success and gave people a good insight in to the work of Warrington Collegiate."
