THE Christmas 'Light Up A Life' appeal held by Winsford-based St Luke's (Cheshire) Hospice raised £3,971.
Hundreds of tree lights, bought in memory of loved ones, were illuminated during the hospice's outdoor carol service in December.
Arthur Freeman, chairman of the St Luke's trustees, said: "It was a truly memorable evening for all concerned and a delight for the residents.
"The trustees would like to thank everyone who so generously responded to the appeal."
